Overview

This project was based on the work of Joshua Pinskier, his work can be seen in From Bioinspiration to Computer Generation: Developments in Autonomous Soft Robot Design. To help demonstrate his findings, I was tasked to build a smaller replica of the computer generated evolution of a robot which was based on the Hierarchical Optimization method and machine learning. This model assists with conveying and illustrating the research conducted at CSIRO in a physical way.
